The IV APMIB 2013 Charity Golf Tournament will be held this month on 17 October at the Club de Campo Villa in Madrid. The aim of the charity tournament, which is organised by the Asociación de Empleados de Iberia Padres de Minusválidos –APMIB (Iberia Association of Parents with Disabled Children) and by the Asociación Síndrome Phelan McDermid (Phelan McDermid Syndrome Association), is to provide a better quality of life for individuals with learning difficulties.
The Asociación de Empleados de Iberia Padres de Minusválidos (APMIB) is a non-profit corporation, which has been collaborating with the integration and support of people with disabilities for over thirty years. The Asociación Síndrome Phelan McDermid is also a non-profit association made up of parents, family members and people affected by this type of rare syndrome. The funds raised will go towards the various assistance programmes organised by the two associations.

All players with a federated licence and a handicap can register to take part in the tournament. The initiative’s slogan, “Your help is vital”, sums up the purpose behind the upcoming tournament.
