Noraktrad, a company specializing in language services, including translation, interpreting and localization, has been awarded the FL/FIN13 public contract for the Translation Centre of the Bodies of the European Union. This contract not only officially recognises the quality of Noraktrad services, but will also make the company one of the leading suppliers of English to Spanish translations for the Financial and Banking sectors within the European Union.
The Translation Centre of the Bodies of the European Union (CDT) was set up in 1994 to provide essential translation services to meet the needs of the European Community where twenty-four official languages currently coexist. The role of the CDT is to coordinate the task of translating the numerous official documents which circulate between the various bodies and agencies of the EU, with the specific objective of “rationalizing working methods and making overall savings”.
CDT approval not only represents a major contract with the European Union, but also reflects the quality and reliability of the translation work and professional performance of the selected company.
With more than thirty years’ experience in this field, Noraktrad has now become the leading member of the Norak Group, and offers translation services for all language combinations and specialized areas. In addition, Noraktrad has developed its own quality control system founded on constant communication with the client. This process has been certified under the TÜV Rheinland UNE-EN ISO 9001:2008 and UNE-EN 15038:2006 standards, which serve to regulate both the quality of work and the most stringent demands in terms of data protection and confidentiality.
